“I did these a few years ago and completely forgot about them until recently when I was trawling thru old files. I was on a big giallo binge and developed an obsession with Mimsy Farmer. Apart from some additional EQing I've left them alone.” WS

Wilbury Narcosis, On A Beach At Dieppe
“"Subterranean and subaquatic tones inspired by the doomy romanticism of a stretch of Normandy shore. For Jean Rollin. Especially Le Frisson de Vampires and Lèvres de Sang.” WN

Shadow of the Shadow, The Heights of Despair
“An attempt to capture the feelings evoked by the allure of pessimism as a way of life, using Emil Cioran as a guide.” SotS

Eugene Aram, What Doesn't Kill You Gets You in the End
“These tracks were taken from a couple of early DIY improvised sessions edited down and EQ'd, and in some cases rearranged. Bass, pedals, amp. The voices on track 4 were recorded accidentally – I'd inadvertently left the recording device switched on in my rucksack on the way home from the rehearsal studio. I'm not sure where they came from. Possibly on a railway platform or on the train. I'm not even sure if it's a genuine conversation or from radio or TV. The voices on track 3 are from a YouTube video played on a phone through the pickups.” EA
