Eugene Aram are playing a live set tomorrow at the next hidden channels event organised by the inestimable bad timing. The event takes place at the Quip & Curiosity artspace, 71 Tenison Road, Cambridge, CB1 2DG and is free to attend. hidden channels is a series promoting experimentation, improvisation, and invention in sound and music. These events are a chance to try out different formats (and none) as well as short experimental live sets. They are also a chance to see and show music and sound hardware, self-invented hacks, techniques, and self-written software projects. Eugene Aram are joined by Xavier Marco del Pont (3 Versions of Judas) on guitar to perform a semi-structured piece built around a voice loop of spoken verse taken from Thomas More's Utopia. Also performing a live set is ARWA: Sonic incursions into the liminal lands of the many angled ones; dialectical hyperphonix; anarchistic reproductive workers associations; ARWA.
